快过年了，每逢年关，总是中国人最想家的时候，老外其实也一样，只是他们是在圣诞节。
《A Heart in New York》是写一个纽约人乘飞机由伦敦回家时喜悦的心情。这里有他熟悉的街区，有他的朋友，他适应的生活节奏和情调。对一个归家的游子来说，这一切才是使他迫不及待地感受和激动不已的。至于自由女神、摩天大楼、百老汇这些值得夸耀的纽约象征，歌中反而全然不提，这恰恰说明了人们对家乡淳朴的感情。
